How do you give local kids the chance to get into dirt riding?  One of the easiest ways is to provide a pump track right in their neighborhood.  I want to see pump tracks pop into city parks all over SoCal.  We just need to get one successfully built.  Then we can promote it as a success to other cities, and propose pump tracks in their parks.  

The first such pump track in this mission is being tried in Valley Center.  I started work on this project with Minette in the Fall.  Our own Sinner is a VC local, and has signed on to be "the man" on the ground.  He's already done GPS work.  JKOP has provided the CAD drawings for the project.  It's a GP group effort!  The head of parks and rec is on board, and supportive.  We are now preparing for the formal proposal presentation to the board on 3/19/14 at 3pm.  Public support is ALWAYS a big deal!  Please...if you can make it up to be a "supporting member of the public", it would help a lot!  We can hit up the local spot after for dinner and hang out.  Look below...you can SHARE this post on FB!
