Help me decide what brakes to get! Need your help!
Im currently running zees and am pretty much sick of them.
They are good brakes when bleed real good, but notice they need bleeding so much to be great brakes. Ive also noticed from two separate pairs that the pistons stick even after being cleaned. They work when they want to in my opinion. But i need brakes that work all the time.
Brakes ive used are pretty much elixers, codes, zees.
I found elixers and codes worked all the time but had no modulation. Codes had huge stopping power with a good pull of the lever but gave me hand pump from hell because of very little modulation. I found the zees to be better for my ride style. But like i said im sick of my zees. To much bleeding and they also begin to be "mushy" of a feel too.
Im faster then i used to be and for sure brake less. So i need a brake with good stopping power with good modulation and reliable with lower maintenance sort of speak.
So was thinking of getting saints...anyone have experience with both zees and saints? will i not like saint if i don't like zees?
I'm also looking at hopes, mags and f1.
Any input would be super helpful. Its not like i can go out and test every brake and spending another 400 bucks needs to be the right investment for me.
Thanks guys

I have run saints and zees and they feel the same to me. I am currently running saints and have never had those problems you are talking about butvi have had to bleed them like once a year.as fo avid elixers that i have run, never again.

Zee FTW. Also not had the problems you speak of. One set has never been bled and are still good after several years. Are you sure you are bleeding correctly?

Get Guides. That way if you get scared, you can grab the brakes all you want but you'll still have to ride it out.

My next brake set will be hopes. I have the guide rsc's and they are terrible.

I have Guide RS, they were a big (and cheap) upgrade from the Elixirs that came with my bike but I'm sure there's better brakes out there.

I went with hope. Got the Hope tech 3 v4 in orange and blue. I havnt gone out for a ride yet because im still waiting a couple weeks for the right side as chainreaction ran out. But just from openning the box and puting it on my bike im already happy. So stiff and solid just the way i like them .... But the lever it self is nice. The feel of it is much better then any brake i have put my hands on.
