Sat dig/ride Ellsworth
Sat Ellsworth will have some heavy equipment out to finish the new line. Gonna support and dig from 9 til lunch. Then ride the rest of the day.
Bring a shovel/pick if u got one.
Bring a lunch for SURE!
If you have baby wipes and a change of shirt, you'll actually feel like riding after lunch.

As long as I am actually allowed to ride this time, I am in. Just as long as your promise to stop swearing in front of Tony's kid. Poor kid probably had do a thousand hail Marys, and take a double dose of Sunday school to over come your constant barrage of filth Steve.
Also can I bring booze? I require a certain amount of go-go juice to get my backflip on.

A good 12 + guys digging and riding. I had a blast today! 2 new pirates earned their patches. Stoked we didn't dig so long that we were too pooped to jump. Great 4hr ride session! And crazy....the 4 story boom forklift fucking FLIPPED. Nuts...Bollucks has a pic. So lucky the 13yr old driving it didn't get killed.

Yup i will, consolodating the footage tonight. Great times. Cleared out and benched a lot of stuff. A lot of progress was made, and I'm stoked to see the finished product. The ideas for the rest of the line are going to be epic!
Then had a quick break for lunch. This got interesting for me. Took a swig from my Arizona sweet tea, felt a chunky piece in my mouth. Thought it was just some undisolved sweet tea powder so I tried breaking it up with my tongue and teeth.. Until I felt that chunk latch on to my lip and proceeded to repeatedly sting my lips and gums. At the time I was driving back towards Ramona on the twisty windy roads. I spit out and sprayed my sweet tea all over my dash and windshield . Ugh.
Once back we sessioned the top part...I dunno how many times. A lot. Learned a lot from the more experienced guys with jumps. By the end I hit every jump and drop. HUGE progress for me. It was great fun.

Just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone that came out to help Saturday ! Sorry I couldn't hang out and take photos for everyone again...had to run that errand for a second boom lift :/ Glad everyone is starting to see the potential of the full line ! I really think we could complete the entire line this winter if we continue to receive such great support !...did I mention that we have a Rhino for shuttles when the trail is complete ?
Going forward we will always limit the dig time to a half day so everyone will still have enough wind left in their sails to ride...AND...I would really like to build a couple of small "gap bridges" that we can use at the top of the line to help newer riders ( and that pesky mini- Cap'n ) acclimate to jumping gaps. I think we have a great facility for more ride clinics but we definitely need to provide a couple of jumps that new deckhands will feel safe walking the plank on. Let me know your thoughts and suggestions ! What about hosting clinics every weekend after digs for those in need ? rider clinics ? video / photo clinics ?
