Mammoth MTN. Aug.27&28 R/R

Heres how our trip went. Chris aka GP dickie picked cakemoto and i up at jakes place and we then picked hammerd4flat up at his house off to Mammoth to ride. We left Saturday morning at 4am and got to the montain at 9am. We then called up magicmac to see what up lets ride and met him 20minutes later and he left and met us after our 2nd run. We warmed up on Kamikaze to Shock treatment to Richter i think is the name. Kamikaze was fast and fun wide open. We hit the no lip Jump at about 45mph and you go 25ft out but only 1 foot off the ground. I had a fun time on this run. I think we then took Velocity from Mccoy station down to Jills jumps which are awsome. Then Velocity to Twighlight Zone and this is awsome trail well done and the Small Wooden lauch ramp is fun and set up nice. We then jumped on Charlift 2 to the top entry to Velocity but i took it into Upper Techno Roc awsome techy,rocky, and almost made it clean but took wrong line into. I have never even knew there was an upper Techno Roc this is the Hardest trail on the MTN. I took in into Recoil the Brand New trail and its tabletop jumps but i was not impressed only because i am a little more advanced rider. Then into Velocity into TwighlightZone again. We then took the main lift to Mccoy and took Brake Through over to Flow trail and hit all of it. I made everyone hit the Flow Drop! and connected to Shot Gun a fun novice trail but fun. We are now over by the Canyon lift and have to go down the hill and catch the shuttle back to the main lift. I think we had Lunch and i stared at the Waitress alot HOTTIE! After lunch we proceeded to hit most of the same trails AS DC 10,Chain Smoke,SkidMarks were all closed and that SUCKED! We did get a run down Bullit another good trail its usually used for the races at Mammoth been down that one alot in the past and the HAB to get to it Sucks from Mccoy! We had one hell of a weekend as we Dickie,Jake,Russ and i Smoked alot and Dickie drinks like a Rockstar. good to ride and meeting MAGIC MAC whatup man sorry we missed you on Sunday. We did not see any other GP but we raped,pilaged,and plundered MAMMOTH MTN> I thought we were going to get kicked out of the HOTEL 6 as we were patrying HARD 24/7!! NO JOKE!! Dickie took half the bottle of PATRON by himself pretty much. I do not drink but smoked like a Chimmeney!! I hope everyone else can join the Party next round at Mammoth or N*. We did not take any video or pics. only a couple of Flow Drop not worth showin looks small but its not small drop. Just gotta hit it!

Why were DC 10, Chain Smoke, and Skid Marks closed? I'm hoping Chain Smoke is open this weekend as I've been dying to hit the waterfall.

Flow Drop & the Techno Rock drop are also on my list for this year.

Ive hit up Mammoth the last 3 weekends...and its f-ing AWESOME! Its soo much better than last year Cant wait for next year when they have more time to work on trails before opening hopefully.

I think DC10 and skidmarx are closed because of the new high speed chair going in (ch 5). There is alot of heavy machinery on that area of the mountain effecting lower skidmarx and mid DC10. They are probably just protecting there asses with all the construction work, dont need bikers crossing where they are working with tractors and such.

They are working on a wall mid chainsmoke by the large rock roller. Not sure when its going to reopen.

there is a river going through dc10,and i believe snow still on skid marks.
chair lift operator said there doing work on chainsmoke.it was a blast that wood sender if fucking dope

ya fun fun time! great riding with you guys! twilight zone was the bomb i was all about it, blake made a sweet video its on facebook idk if he posted it here ill try and get the link for it, and ya i actually sat sunday out and hit it up monday. but great times up at mammoth!!
