Troy Lee Designs Victory 2011 kit
First off, I bought these pants based purely off of belt size, and the fit great. I AM VERY LANKY. Bear this in mind when you buy TLD stuff. The things run long for the belt size. The jersey was bought as to my shirt size and fits perfectly.
FIRST IMPRESSIONS: The pants have a fair bit of leather on the inside of the knees but the rest is either ribbed spandex or vented mesh. The pants have three large rubber TLD logos, one on the outside of each knee and one on the side rear near the beltline. The jersey is very heavily vented, you can see my chest clearly through the jersey. The rear skirt part of the jersey has troy lee designe in cursive made out of some grippy rubberlike substance, not yet sure what it is for but it looks nice and is a nice touch.
AFTER THE FIRST RIDE: Both the pants and the jersey breathe incredibly well when you are riding, but unless it is windy the hike up is a little toasty. I assume this is a result of the heavy duty fabrics used. The leather on the inside of the knees is nice, my pants never clung onto the seat or got buzzed up by the tires. The whole kit feels very airy and the pants don't feel as heavy as I expected moto pants to feel.
CONCLUSION: This is a great set of gear for a remarkably reasonable price (royal jersey was 20+ dollars more) and it is perfect for shuttles, bike parks, or cool hike a bikes. While (obviously) my moto shorts were cooler than the pants, I was much more comfortable wearing the long sleeve jersey than I was on hot days with a Royal short sleeve. This is a great kit for a good price, just remember to leave enough money for a GP FR jersey as well.

Re: Troy Lee Designs Victory 2011 kit
I have the TLD Sprint shorts and am goign to get another pair. I also have a TLD motox jersey i wear riding i really like.
And yes, TLD pants across their whole line can seem just a tiny bit snug compared to jean waist sizes.

The lettering on the tail of the jersey helps to keep the jersey tucked into the pants. I never tuck mine in though.
