absolutely hate wearing armor but saw these and was loving the idea of the flexability and added warmth for the winter on cold shuttles/ race days without the bulk. i understand the protection is minimal but would love to hear opinions from anybody that might have one ........

lol what the fuck happened to that link? hahha the TLD armor has been discussed on a previous post few days ago!....

but anyway, I do have that armor... its a minimal protection, but its better than nothing. used it last Saturday at hummingbird and I barely even notice that I'm wearing an armor. not sure how it is during summer but, it felt cool last Saturday.

I have the 7850. armor is light and like Drop D said has minimal protection. Movement is not restrictive unlike other body amor. Feels like a padded shirt.
I've crashed at Animal and rolled over some small rocks and bushes and didn't feel a thing. Don't know how it will hold up with big rocks and more gnarlier trails.

what sizing did you guys go with, i might have a place in west simi that has them but if i end up ordering one how should i figure sizing i'm about 6'2" 160lbs
