Evening Gents. Im Steve. I live in Sherman Oaks and ride Wilson/Lowe most weekends with Shuttle Dave. I have been hitting up Hummingbird & Suicide now and again and want to see what and who else is out there. Would love to work on some trails. Been itching to build a jump on this fence at Chesbro for a year, but I know it would be gone in 2.3 seconds as they xc nazis in Agora Hills look at my full face with utter contempt.
Anyway, I ride a 2010 Devinci Wilson with WC boxers and E13 wheels, and Saint bits and all that jazz. Its my only bike, apart from my old Rocky Mountain RM6 which is now in pieces in the garage. Im pretty fast on the ground, but cant jump for sh*t. I was hoping being around you chaps would help me step it up a notch. What do ya say?

I post the nude pics when I need to get out! And as of yet I have no daughters to pawn off on anyone, but Im sure they would be ugly if I did.

I know a handfull of the Wilson shuttle crew. Tom Martinez, I bought my forks off a guy called Fritz who is a top bloke. The other english chap James I cool. Im down to wok on new trails. Its been on my mind for a while as there are not many built trails outside the Whoops and G-Spot. The punk rocker in me wants to go off the grip and d.i.y it!

Secret trail!?! I am getting to the good stuff already! I get the feeling doing any digging around these parts has to be done in the cover of darkness with ski masks on. I could never have imagined when I moved from the UK to a valley surrounded by so many huge mountains that there would be so few places you can ride, and how many 'stand-up citizens' would make it a personal vendetta for you to under no circumstances have any fun what-so-ever. It's retarded. I always read and hear bikers talking about working with the community and being diplomatic with these people. I know I am not supposed to say it, but f*ck 'em. Its frustrating as hell.

I just find spots off radar and build. Cannot make people understand us. They are closed minded out here. I try to inform the hikers willing to listen just trying to have a spot to have my fun. Some get it others oh well. I will never stop building trails. We lost a sick spot already a couple years ago. I just go find another spot and build my own trails.

Has anyone considered building around Switzers and Redbox? Not many people ride this run anymore since the station fire, and the hikers are very few. Considering its almost a forgotten trail It would be cool to breath some new life into it maybe?

Their is a specific group that maintains those trails. I would not touch a thing up in the area. To many Rangers and hikers that would have issues with anything not authorized. We found that out years ago.
