GPR has some of the best deals out there....he knows I'm willing to talk to him. I don't think Matt would object. He needs SOMETHING to get him going.

Here's my Sunday experience. Shawna and I took off to see Monterey since her feet were BLEEDING from walking the Otter on Sat. She loved it though! I still can't figure out how walking around shops is any better for feet. We found the lil shop that Adam aka Aday aka Mintjelly had mentioned:


The window front looked promising!:


But alas, there was little pirate booty in dare. So we moved on. I sampled some delicious clam chowder, and yelled at a local who was being a dick. That got us to the north end of the main drag. I see candy! Had to go in here...:


In the corner I spy something pirate. I'm attracted like a midget to the childs dept. I snapped the shot...but I just now realize it looks like I'm calling MYSELF an old pirate. That's not right.:


I bought all the candy I could hold in my hands. And now we have even bloodier feet on Shawna. Let's just throw those shoes out and buy new ones! So we went shoe shopping. Goddamit! Do you girls have to look at EVERY shoe in the store before just fucking picking something! She bought some sandles, AND some very UNCOMFORTABLE looking shoes. You chicks make no sense:



We cruised the coastline south looking at the AMAZING views toward Big Sur. Hwy 1 was closed at that point...so we headed toward the 5. Next year I'm bringing the kids, staying IN Monterey, and showing up Wed night! Very cool scene!!!

It'll rain next year...
