Its lighter than a stock 66 :D.... Rides a hell of alot better too... Just make sure you run the right spring and or preload it enough...

Re: 2011 Marzocchi 66 with AVALANCHE internals
It is considering the AVALANCHE adapters $89, mid speed valve kit $39 and cartridge $299 are $427 alone then the 2011 66 fork...

No it has a medium spring yellow for a mid weight rider.
If it had the Ti spring it would have the nickle stanchions, the ti springs are bigger and the nickle stanchions have a bigger ID the plating reinforces and adds strength to them... Sorry figured Id give the description and why as general 411 for people...
Its a basic RC3 66 with the Avalanche damper and its a great deal as well as the only one out there right now. It is literally #1....

Re: 2011 Marzocchi 66 with AVALANCHE internals
Fork before mods is $800 then another $425 so $1225 to get this fork and assuming you sell off the old internals maybe $100 your still into it over $1100.

Re: 2011 Marzocchi 66 with AVALANCHE internals
I know and thats paert of the reason its on the pirate only instead of RM, PB, mtbr etc... I want to sell it but local if I do...
Yeah talked to Craig told him and he said the same thing you said up the preload for my weight and up the rebound.
Turns out after looking at it last night I had the rebound all the way off and the compression all the way on. I forgot when I revalved it I played with the settings LOL... USER error and not a bad tune... Craigs the one who gave me the tune spec and is the default race/fr tune for single crowns based on it...

You could lower it pretty easily.
