I'm thinking I should get something line a 450X. I could ride track, and still be green sticker in the dez. I really wanna see Pala.

A 450X would do perfectly fine on the Vet track out at Pala. I ride a 2009 Husqvarna TXC250 that's green sticker and it rides just fine on a track. With the X model you'll notice the extra weight compared to the R model and you may have to shift a few more times since it's geared differently, but you would still have a blast.

I haven't ridden the new lake elsinore track yet, but it looks fun. The only thing with elsinore is the wind is unpredictable and Pala is only 12 miles from my house.

i've ridden the vet and mini track at pala. fun times! went to a few DC shoes things there too. fun times.

Or you can get one of these http://www.servicehonda.com/honda-2010-models/junior-r and then you won't have to worry about it being too small. This is the only bike I have ever looped and I am 6'3" as well.

i am only 5' 6" and 135lbs. the 150r would be awesome. last dirt bike i had was a yammy ttr125 and a cr85. fun stuff!!

We rode at Pala on Sunday for the first time
The Amateur track was fun
Main is Awesome

My son ate shit on the Amateur and got it on video ,hes bruised up with a Bruised ribs ,sore shoulder, black eye and nose is puffy and a big knot by his eye he also broke the mouth box part of his TLD helmet Shocked

His crash is at the end , I rode the main for the most part of the day and my son asked if i could tow him around on the Amateur track
Well i was kinda use to the speed of the Jumps on the main so when i was towing him around the AM track i over shot a table almost into the face of another jump and i got on the brakes ......well brakes on i still launched off the next jump and way into the corner by the berm and i still tried to make the corner but decided to just go over the berm instead , You can see it at the 3 min mark Laughing

Cool. I can coach you as much as I can. I am no pro by any means, but I can hold my own. I mainly ride desert/technical single track, but every once in awhile it's nice to mix things up.

I'll be out riding pala with Trent (kirby32) Saturday. Hope to see you guys out there! I'll be on a yz250f with 748 number plates. Dont let him fool you dude rips, and gives good coaching to boot. Just dont make the mistaje of riding behind his step dad that dude lives to pelt the living shit out of with roost!

Only thing is that any 450 below 2010 have the old cams, and shity valves! Also when they do blow its over 1000$ to fix! And they are freaking tanks.
