April 9,10 Woodward west Ca (dh,4x??)

May 21,22 Fontana (xc,sd,dh&4x)

FYI, the flyer says there will be XC and SD at Woodward but they are not included on the schedule. I sent Donny an email to find out what's up.

This race is only 2 weeks away, does everyone have their hotel or camping reservations made?

Just spoke to Carol, the manager of Brite Lake campground. She knows nothing of Southridge or a mountain bike race in April. They have 'plenty' of tent camping for $15 per night & limited RV sites for $20 or $30 depending on hook up facilities. They DO NOT take reservations & it's first come, first served.

Best ridden on a 6 inch bike, if u bring a DH bike lighten that shiz up before u go. Also, the past 4 years we have been able to ride the hangar Fri and Sat night.

I've decided to skip races until my bike is built. I literally can not stand people asking "are you racing"..."why not?" I thought it was good to be there anyways to support the team. But I'll just wait til I can race so I don't have to answer that goddam question anymore. Mad

I just got the news from Donny...there will be no 4X at Woodward this year, only DH due to some construction and weather issues at Woodward West. There will be a chainless race on Sat. and then the DH race on Sunday.

I guess I'm kind of glad that there won't be any 4X, because it would have been a hit to my overall for the year, but now it won't! I was going to have to miss this one, now it's not such a big deal to miss it....

Rise Against/Bad Religion show and Beerfest are preventing me from attending this race. Bummer 'cause I really did want to check out Woodward.

Press Release Due to all the construction going on and bad weather at Woodward West Southridge USA will not be able to hold the 4-X event that was scheduled for April 9. the Downhill event will still take place on Sunday we will have a special chain less race on Saturday that will take place around 4:00pm for just $5.00 with your entry into the race also the hanger will be open for riding at 8:00 pm till 11:00pm Fri and Sat. Thank You Don Jackson Southridge USA.
What! The hanger is open for me to practice backflips, and they're going to have a chainless Dh race? This going to be sick!

The Hanger is a good reason to go! Unfortunatly there's a pretty long line to hit the pit, but the other features are all rideable.
