for me the value is watching the two riders side by side and being able to see the difference it makes in the movements they make, like watching bubba scrub the shit out of that table and getting that power down much faster than the other. just shows the importance of these sorts of moves..
of course we all know corners are important as fuck as well. but you cant shoot a side by side in corners...

Yes you can. Dual slalom in MTB. And certain tracks for SX/MX have 2 lines with 2 berms side big side. I don't see why you can't build a dual slalom course for MX either.ejack wrote:but you cant shoot a side by side in corners...

that would be impossible, you would need a tighter corner on the inside turn, so it would not be the same...

Dude it's the same. 2 90* turns next to each other. Riders can take the exact same line side by side. There is no inside per say since the track is separated by barrier/berms like you have in a dual slalom track.ejack wrote:see.. its not the same...

Yes it does. You put the camera at the correct place, and it will be side by side action.
Imagine a 100' straight section then another 100' after a 90* bend. Now put an identical one next to it separated by a barrier. You can have 2 riders doing the exact type of corner side by side with identical radius.
