SDG seats and customer service....
Recently on a ride/ crash I broke my SDG I-Beam seat......
SO I decided to send the seat back to SDG and try and warranty it. Their customer service was GREAT! The warranty guy called me and asked me what happened...I told him I crashed and it broke. He also asked me where I bought it and if I had a receipt. I told him ebay and he replied "ahhh...that makes sense" He explained to me that the seat was from '07 and that usually they don't warranty products not bought from a dealer. I understood that and I didn't argue....I did ask for crash replacement cost and told him that I didn't mind paying if he could give me a discount....He said he would do one better....He said he would send me a box with a seat that is not even released yet....He explained that the seat is used by their dirt jumpers and freeride guys, and is their strongest I-Beam seat. The very next day I received the box, inside the box....a new SDG Apollo I-Beam seat, not even in stores or on their sight yet, as well as a new Bel-Air SL and some other swag.
The Apollo is light, compact, grippy and comfortable...and it seems very strong. I rode it and even crashed and it didn't even effect the seat material.
THANKS SDG for great customer service and a great seat
