intense customer service review
So some of you might remember my post earlier this week about me cracking my frame on my copper 2010 intense Uzzi. As soon as I noticed the crack I panicked and took it right to the bike shop. When I was there, the shop was all iffy about it being covered by the warranty and said if it's not it will be a crash replacement and would cost a few hundred bucks. Well, I sucked it up and said 'Ok' .........through the answers on the post I put up earlier this week, people said it was a common problem on my frame and it should be no problem. So I chose to get the bike back and take it straight up to intense cycles in Temecula. They were awesome. They said that I had an older version of the rear triangle and that i would get the up-to-date one that fixes the common cracking of the old version. They're also gonna replace my swing link that adjusts the rear travel at no charge even though I stripped it because I over-tightened it (most places would call it user mal-maintenance). And I'll have all new bearings on the new rear triangle, which is badass. So all my problems will be fixed. The only reason they didn't have the parts on-hand is because I have a unique color, and they have to send the new part to paint. So in 2 weeks I'll have all new moving frame parts for zero out of pocket and at zero stress.......way different outcome than what I believe would have happened with the bike shop. And if I had a common color Uzzi i would be putting my bike back together right now, but i have to wait for paint. But 2 weeks is a lot better than 1-2 months from what people were telling me it probably would take at the bike shop. Intense makes some sweet bikes, I understand that there are companies out there that might make a better bike, but Intense is up there. But with customer service like I got today, Intense has me as a customer for life. I almost forgot to mention they gave me a tour of the factory from where they start with the aluminum stock to the finished product on the rack and everything in-between. It was pretty cool to see how the bike comes together from a few sticks of metal.

Re: intense customer service review
I like good customer service. It's what Americans are known for and, unfortunately it's on the way out (in general), but it's good to hear Intense are honoring their customers.
Re: intense customer service review
I had the same experience with Intense. Blake is 'da man!
I like the fact that they are a 15 minute drive from my front door.
Chad took good care of me when I had issues with my Socom.
He even hooked me up with some free swag.

Re: intense customer service review
Hmmm...good to hear when I emailed them several times about my cracked 5.5 they pretty much said I was screwed and offered me 10 % off a frame...maybe taking the bike in is the trick....
