Keystone Bike Park Empty initial thoughts

-it is hard to find the base of the mountain
-very nice bike shop
-free granola bar with lift ticket
-big mountain. altitude was hard on the lungs...
-closes for 30 minutes minimum for lightning strikes within 5 miles. which happened. along with rain for 2 hours.
-best trail map of anywhere i've been
-steep. techy. rocky. well built wooden features.
-jump lines not flowy.
-harder trail ratings
-crappy food choices
-almost 90 minutes from denver.

i did every black run there but helter/skelter. i also chickened out at the drop zone area. i was riding alone and needed someone to follow through those areas. i mean this was only my second time afterall at a resort. and only my 5th week of owning a downhill bike.

helter/skelter was easy...rolled it cold no dabs...keystone is pretty weak...that drop zone was insane based on all the other terrain they have
