Wood drop in the 3rd picture and 2nd video are on lower Phodog I think. There is also a bigger one on flameout but there is a bit of pedaling involved to get to that one.
Yeah EJack, I definitely recommend you make it out there. I've only been riding close to a year now, and as far as resort riding I've only been to Snow Summit and Steamboat to compare. But for me, Northstar was the most fun riding I've done by far.

I don't remember seeing that last year, especially with the tape around it. Why hasn't N* cleared all that shit off?

Colin, Jason crashes out on Livewire. The rocks are clearly visible to the right with tape blocking it off. I would be moar than pissed off if that happened to me!

Jake was asking about the wooden drop feature not where Jason crashed . Yeah he crashes on live wire i have only ridden it about 15xs this month.LOL When are we hitting it up??

Were the rocks there on Livewire the times you were there? It makes me think that N* have bunch of keystone cops running the place.
Maybe next month? Some peeps are going up for that race, Pro GRT, Aug 26-28. Don't you wanna try some new places like Colorado, Utah, Oregon, etc.?

I don't know if those rocks are new cause it was my first time there, but that section is kind of weird or like an optical illusion or something. In review of all our helmet cam videos (we have a lot of footy for Livewire) we got pretty close to the rocks each and every time. Yet we must have done Livewire at least 3-4 times each day(3), and none of us out of seven guys even noticed those rocks were there until after Jason crashed.
