2009 Specialized Safire FSR Comp - SOLD
Selling BKJ's Medium Specialized Safire Comp
Specialized Safire Comp
- Medium
- 120mm Travel
- Women Specific Geometry
- Fox Suspension
- Perfect Bike to get your GF/wife into riding, so you no longer have to sneak away for rides
GP Price: SOLD
Details:
Bike was recently overhauled, stripped down and fully tuned and is ready to rip the trails. No dents or dings, only the expected minor scuffs. This is a bike that is specifically designed for women. It is the women’s version of the Specialized Stumpjumper. I’m 5’2” and this is a Medium-sized frame and it fits me perfectly, especially because of the lower stand over height.
I’ve had this bike since April 2009 and consistently rode it until September 2010. I’ve ridden it in as many places as I could and it’s been able to handle whatever I throw its way. It’s light enough to be pedaled consistently uphill, but still allows me to take it on some of the downhill trails at Mammoth Mountain. I’ve ridden it on the local trails in SD and as far up as Kernville (where you can ride up a couple thousand feet and also descend 5,000 ft) and out of state in Gooseberry Mesa, UT. I love this bike, but my style of riding has changed gears and I do more aggressive all-mountain and downhill riding now and this bike is geared more towards cross-country (XC) or light all-mountain (AM) riding.
This is a great bike that will not only get you started in riding, but also keep you going.
