NEMA Telonix shorts

Got these in the mail today, just as I was walking out the door to go ride. So instead of a ride report I'll do a product review. First, I picked these shorts for 2 reasons, 1 they're all black with just a few logos, 2 they're light weight. They are 400d cordura, so they shouldn't just fall apart in a crash. The legs are knee length and roomy, which I like. 4 pockets and 2 zippered nut-vents. The side adjustment could use a d-ring to make tightening the waist easier. I should have got a size smaller is not something I'm used to saying. (but I like it) The material is a little loud but I'm sure after a few washes that will be gone. I did not order these shorts because they came with chamois, but it came with one so I wore it too. It fit rather loose (again I should have got a smaller size) it seemed to float around like a 20 year old pair of tighty whities. But once i got on the bike, I didn't notice it, so it was doing it's job. When hiking and riding the shorts were light, and allowed for plenty of movement, like large steps up, up and over rocks. With their large leg openings,and lighter weight material, they did not push my knee pads down. Overall these are a great pair of DH/AM shorts. Retail price $89.99

I also bought a pair of these shorts a while back... and they quickly became one of my favorites...

they are light wieght, but seem to be beefy enough to handle.. i have crashed in them a couple of times.. once last weekend into some rocks. my leg got a bit scratched up but the shorts are fine...

id say they are quality....

I'm only buying a pair if i can have Aliso Bong Drop etched into them!!!
