1/30 Webb & GMR

I was considering shuttling Webb this Saturday (1/29) and possibly doing GMR in the afternoon. The bottom of GMR is about 15 minutes away from the base of Webb.

Anyone interested?

UPDATE:

OKay...meet at the Bottom of GMR at 7:30 AM on Sunday morning 7/30. Plan on doing a few runs and possibly going over to Webb for the afternoon.

I haven't really paid much attention to the GP 5 thread lately.I haven't put much forethought and planning into that trip. I don't have my camping shit together. I don't have camping site booked. Shit, I don't even know where the campground IS for that matter.

im planning on going to gp5 but my "wifes" plan changes from day to day. if i dont go though ill be at webb early saturday. are you going for sure or is it still questionable?

what's Webb consist of?...jumps,drops,slabs,berms,pedaling,steeps,rocky...length of run?how far is it from El cajon?...thanks

its about 2-3 min run pinning. Not worth the drive from el cajon....its in Claremont.

I might be in for saturday morning runs if anyone is still shredding that day...

dang it all...I was looking for a paved route with unicorns and rainbows no more than 3% grade please.. I'm looking for a fun DH run that is more than 2-3 minutes....I'm the new guy visiting from the land of 45 minute DH runs...Maybe something like Noble but steeper promoting white knuckles..I don't care about the drive distance if it's worth it ..who's in for a shuttle?

For those looking for directions/Info.

GMR is located near where the 57 and 210 meet.

There is a dirt lot at the corner of Big Dalton Canyon Rd and Glendora Mountain road. From the lot you can see a dam.

Webb is probably 2 hours from El Cajon. It's about 5 miles east of where the 210 and 57 Freeways meet.
