Push Industries Suspension Tuning

Post by cableguy on Thu Aug 01, 2013 9:57 am

http://www.pushindustries.com

I had used these guys before few times before, and my RockShox Revelation fork on my trail bike had hydro-locked (which I could have fixed on my own) but decided to send it in for full service + revalving after 2 years of riding and maintaining it on my own.

Rode the bike yesterday, and there was a very noticeable improvement in performance.  The 150mm fork felt like a mini-Boxxer.  Significantly suppler and smoother through the choppy stuff.  Felt like I used all of the travel, and small bump compliance was excellent.  Their recommended settings were right on.  Push puts every fork/shock on the dyno after the revalving, and it gets re-checked by another technician for quality control.

The only negatives are cost and the hassle of shipping it.  And now that I really feel how crappy the Fox RP23 is on the back, I will be sending that in for revalving too.

If you have trouble tuning your suspension and have $$$ to spare, you might look into Push's service.  They only work on certain Fox and RockShox forks/shocks (no Marz, Cane Creek, Dorado, etc.).  Avalanche is another shop that does similar work.

Any suspension shop will have some number of disgruntled customers.  The fact that Push has been around for this long servicing globally and holds a good reputation says a lot.  I've had and enjoyed a Pushed setup in the past with no issues.  They do cost more than most.  But the hassle potential is much higher with the cheaper alternatives.

So true Steve. Josh Bender hates Avalanche cause it blew up on him. Like any fork can take what he does!! LOL. I thought Avy was 100% customer satisfaction! Wrong!!! LOL. Shit i broke an Avy fork also.
