Low pro armor/sub gear recommendations
Any reccomemdations on low profile chest/shoulder/armor. I'm looking at raceface flank, one industries and 661 sub gear. Any info would help.

For low-profile (hidden under a jersey) Troy Lee Designs makes a pretty nice shirt. I can't remember the number of it, but it's black, has a lot of removable pads, and is slim.

Ok. Ya I was looking at that one too. That one looks like it has the most protection.

I tried on one industries and it felt rough and scratchy inside. Next I'm going to try raceface. Might order a few and try them all on then return what I don't like.

Cool...Do a short write up at the end because I've been wanting to invest in something like this. I find the traditional body armor too heavy and hot so I rarely wear it. If there was something more low key I think I would wear it more.

That does look sweet. I'm hoping for short sleeve though. That way it's a little more versatile. Especially if its really hot.

Re: Low pro armor/sub gear recommendations
I have the TLD BP 7850 as well as the Leatt Body Vest 3DF.
TLD - good coverage, it does get hot under the jersey but you don't look like a footbal player while wearing it. It's a bitch to take off as well especially when you wear it as the base layer. I wear a thin undershirt under the TLD so the armor won't stick to my skin. TLD sizing is also messed up so make sure to try before you buy.
Leatt - good back and hip protection, great integration with the Leatt neck brace if you use one. Easy to wear and take off. The chest plate is pretty bulky. Since it's a vest, there's no shoulder protection. Not as hot as the TLD and with the side zipper it's easy to take off. Wish they had a shirt version with shoulder cups.

Re: Low pro armor/sub gear recommendations
Ya it would be perfect with shoulder pads too. I tried a medium on the tld and it was too big. So thinking of trying a small on that one

I wear a small in most gear, but in TLD, I have to wear either an extra small, or a youth xtra large.

I have the Leatt 3DF with elbow pads and I really like it. It's not as hot as other suits I've worn. The fit is really good too. I'd highly recommend it.
