Kali Reviews

I tested their Maula snow helmet of the holidays and like it... pretty basic helmet with ear muffs. The temp was super cold, from 5-20 degrees the whole time, and my head was warm. So I'll give the Maula snow helmet a thumbs up. Plus, you can't beat the the price of $47 shipped to your door... On the con side the padding is skimpy and I would recommend a thin beanie underneath.

Also had my first test ride with the AAZIS soft knee/shin guards:
Pro: fit great, didn't notice them when pedaling, stayed in place over all terrain and pedaling, super comfortable
Con: straps are a bit too long and I will need to trim them

No crash on them yet, but that will come soon and I will report

Avatar 2 (non carbon) helmet

Had it for 6 months now, had a handful of crashes with minimal scratches to the finish. No cracks or dents either.

Pro: light...super light. Good visibility. Breathes very well. Like the graphics. Comes with extra visor and sizing pads.

Cons: ummmmm

Love these pads however; I did just manage to rip them within the first 3 months. They are really comfortable and stylish but are probably not the most durable out there. My Race Face knee pads lasted me almost 2 years. They werent as comfy though.
