Frame Defender Kits

Post by Guest on Fri Dec 23, 2011 11:09 pm

As a local north county rider who has been riding the same trails for a few years now, I’ve always been a big fan of products to help elevate my bike so that I can consistently become a better rider. This past year, I started my own bicycle components product line mainly specializing in frame protection. You can read more info about it at this thread here: http://gravitypirates.dust.tv/t4531-frame-protection.

Not new to riding but new to Gravity Pirates, I’ve gotten to see the solidarity of your extensive group with unwavering loyalty to the Southern California area which I can totally relate to.

That’s why this month I’ve specially introduced a limited edition Frame Defender kit in the two-tone colorway of Gravity Pirates boldblack and green. If you guys like the new black and green pads; not only will you be able to show GP pride, but it makes for one sick bike. Check it out at frame defender.

All GP members receive 10% off the retail price, and another 10% of your purchase goes to the GP Fund

What's the density of the foam. Is it more butyl rubber or open cell.

It's what you can buy at surf shops to put on the tail of surfboards, just much less expensive.

Technology

Post by Guest on Sun Dec 25, 2011 5:38 pm

Frame Defender kits are lightweight Frame Protection made from EVA Foam. The closed cell technology used in manufacturing Frame Defenders makes it superior in many ways:

Noise Reduction - No more annoying Chain slapping against your valuable frame, and the material absorbs the impact instead of reflecting it like rubber products do.

Full Color - vibrant color no matter how much Frame Defenders are scrubbed or cleaned, or exposed to the elements. Its color will not fade or mildew.

Closed Cell Technology - this technology makes Frame Defenders soil resistant and non-water absorbent, making for quick and easy clean-up and drying.

Digging the matching stem. The new defender would look perfect on that scoot.

Well.......guess I DO have a frame worth defending now! When I figure out what I want to do with it (paint, powder, raw), I'll look into a set!
