So.........what's wrong with your truck Steve? Still need front end work?
I was thinking.....with such a large group heading up....maybe I should have taken Andy's TW ride he posted on the same day.....kinda split the group up to keep crestline traffic down.

Re: Crestline 10/16
its 15 miles from the chevron parking.. 20 minutes if your not stuck behind a motorhome towing a boat...
shuttle is 3 miles, takes around 10 minutes if your not stuck behind a slow driver..
we can figure out shuttles, ect.. at the chevron before we head up..

Re: Crestline 10/16
What time do you think we'll be back in SD? Looks like I need to come in to work tomorrow evening, so Big Bear is now out of the picture.
I can take 3 additional people and 3 additional bikes for the carpool.
But if the arrival time to SD is late, I will have to duck out early and won't be able to do a carpool.

Re: Crestline 10/16
Im going with Vince. We are bringing a couple of our regular crew. We have a truck that holds 6 riders and 1 driver. We have a driver and 4-6 riders lined up so we should be ready to roll when we get there. If a couple of our guys dont show, then we can grab a few riders to fill the truck. Looking forward to meeting all the "Pirates"!

hmmm, what time r u coming back? That could be a good thing. My son really wants to hit "future bmx" to race. If I get back in time for that...I earn bonus points.
It looks like most SD peeps will be rolling through Esco. That looks like a great meet up spot to coordinate the carpool. ??
Re: Crestline 10/16
Ideally, I'd like to be back at my house by 4:30pm so I have time to shower and get to work no later than 6:00pm.
Is that enough time to get in a good amount of runs?

Re: Crestline 10/16
I'll bring my truck just in case. It can seat 5 more riders. Some one will have to carry my camera gear on their lap tho.

Re: Crestline 10/16
SD meet spot is the Escondido train station. Badkitty and I will be there to grab BMeX about 6:45. 858, you want the last spot in Ms Kitty's wild ride? I know we drive right past you on the 15.
We'll be riding Crestline for about 4.5hrs. Plenty of time.

So does this mean I didn't qualify for the SD carpool along the way?

Re: Crestline 10/16
haha, no. We won't be the only vehicle coming up from SD. I don't think Santos has chimed in at all. He and a couple other still need to gang up.
Re: Crestline 10/16
I was thinking that we should shoot photos on the first or second run. Get it out of the way so I can clear my head for ripping the trail. Otherwise I'll be thinking about shooting while riding, and usually that ends in a bloody mess. Everyone cool with that?

Re: Crestline 10/16
you would probably need at least 2 runs to warm up.. these trails are really short..
but i agree with you.. get it out of the way early.....
